What are the chances of Cause and Effect?

Ancient Wisdom, featured
There is no such thing as chance only Cause and Effect Chance in many philosophies is the antithesis to cause and effect or causality. For example Islam discourages man from taking part in games of chance, ancient wisdom gives no defined value to chance and Hermeticism, Alchemy and Taoism frown upon and effect that has no cause. If we really thought about chance, the fact that for example a dice magically falls on a certain position, we would scratch our heads, how? And for the statistician it would sound like a huge math problem, however for those that understand higher levels of universal laws, it would sound down right insane. Instead there is causality, the universal law of cause and effect. That is that there is no effect without a cause. The well known Alchemist, Sir ...
Practicing The Inner smile

Practicing The Inner smile

Ancient Wisdom, featured
The Inner Smile is the ability to shine happiness down in ones own physical being. This can be accomplished by forms of meditation or merely just imagining your consciousness smiling down through your body. In on of our last article, 8 ways to get rid of bad karma we touched upon how speaking good words can help in clearing up the bounce back or the return of karmic behavior. In that section we spoke of a study done by Masaru Emoto and his studies of the effects of sound and words on water crystals. Effectively how water forms perfect crystals when positive words were spoken to them. Whether or not you believe that this is a feasible or viable experiment is no real concern here. But to speak more from a socio-behavior one can agree that the effects of speaking kind words to fri...

Essential Oils vs Aroma Oils What’s the Difference

Ancient Wisdom, featured
Essential oils and aroma therapy have become very popular over the past decade or so. But they have always been around. Not only were they valued for their medicinal purposes, but also had spiritual meanings as well. The use of essential oils can be dated back as far as 18,000 B.C in the Dordogne region of France as well as 4500 B.C Egypt. In Egypt each fragrance was associated with a specific God. Some of the scents were even smelled on mummies upon excavation. However we may be more familiar with the Indian use of essential oils in the ancient practice of Ayur Veda. This practice has been done for more than 3000 years, in which they incorporated essential oils into their healing elixirs. In fact the use of essential oils have been seen in almost every ancient culture as a fo...

Using the Law of Polarity for a Positive Mindset

What is the Law of Polarity "Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled."--The Kybalion. The law of polarity is in everything and it is above and below, it exist in that which we can not see and that which is right before our eyes. At our level we have a basic comprehension of negative and positive, light and dark, black and white, good and bad. However there are many levels to this law. There are levels that are lower than ours which we see in the animal kingdom as very simple and minuscule, yet there are species, beings and even ascended humans that see our stage as that of an ant. PLATO'S ALLEGORY OF THE CAVE (FROM PLATO'S "REPUBLIC", BOOK VII, 514a-c to 521a-e)[ Note : interpolated comments in green ] And now, I said, let me show in a figure how far our nature is enlightened or unenlightened : -- "Behold ! , human beings living in a underground den, which has a mouth open towards the light and reaching all along the den. Here they have been from their childhood, and have their legs and necks chained so that they cannot move, and can only see before them, being prevented by the chains from turning round their heads. Above and behind them a fire is blazing at a distance, and between the fire and the prisoners there is a raised way; and you will see, if you look, a low wall built along the way, like the screen which marionette players have in front of them, over whic...

What is Spiritual Balance and Life Balance?

Ancient Wisdom, featured
Spiritual balance and life balance are an understanding of being content in your material world as well as your spiritual world. Think of this balance as an integer chart, if you are too far too the left then you are buried in material, if you are too far to the right then you're head may be in the clouds and are unable to complete your duty in this world. 1. I Think I Am a Starseed, is That Weird?

Ancient Wisdom, featured
Starseed is only a term to understand the origin of a soul. We are all from somewhere and not all starseeds are the same. So this and any other explanations out there can define any one of us. YOu know who you are... From a very early age I've always felt that I was different. I felt as if the world was a dream and I was just passing through it. I was also always more connected with spiritual than the material world. My connection with God was always there as well. My parents converted to Islam when I was 5 and it was very easy for me to understand God as an infinite "thing". It is hard to put in words that God was not a person place or thing and that even energy was created by God. medianet_width = "728"; medianet_height = "90"; medianet_crid = "911743742"; median...

This transference of energy is something that is carried with the healer for days and sometimes years if the energy was just ...
